ARNOLD U. LUCIANO (aluciano@jlpalaw.com)

Arnold was born in Manilla, Philippines, and immigrated to the Mississippi Delta as an infant with his family in order for his father to further his medical practice. In 1979, Arnold became a United States Citizen. Arnold grew up in Ruleville, Mississippi, and is a graduate of Delta State University. Upon graduation from DSU, Arnold moved on to the University of Mississippi and graduated from Ole Miss Law School. After law school, Arnold returned home to the Mississippi Delta where he accepted a position as a staff attorney for the Eleventh Circuit Court District, serving under Judges John L. (Jack) Hatcher and Kenneth L. Thomas. There, he caught the eye of Gerald H. Jacks, who brought him into the firm in August of 1999. Arnold became a partner in the firm in 2006. Law practice with Gerald afforded Arnold a practice as diverse as his background, which includes civil litigation in state and federal court, real estate law, estate planning, and commercial law. Arnold serves as counsel for the Cleveland School District, Bolivar County Port Commission, and Cleveland State Bank. Arnold and Danny swap duties as City Attorney for Ruleville depending on their work schedules.

He is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in Mississippi and the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals and has served as a speaker and instructor for numerous groups ranging from the Bar to paralegal and pre-law programs at Delta State University. He is a member of the Mississippi and Bolivar County Bar Associations and the William C. Keady Chapter of American Inns of Court and serves on the Access to Justice Committee for the MS Bar.

Arnold lives in downtown Cleveland with his children. Arnold is an avid runner and can frequently be seen on the walking trail in downtown Cleveland or participating in running events in the area. Arnold is parishioner with Our Lady of Victories Catholic Church and a Member of the Knights of Columbus. He is very active in the community, both here in Cleveland and in the neighboring City of Ruleville, where he serves on the foundation board of a local hospital.

Arnold has been named a "Rising Star" by the Mid-South Superlawyers Magazine.
